Flights to Paris - information
Flights arrive at either Roissy-Charles de Gaulle
(CDG) (01 48 62 12 12 ) or at Orly (01 49 75
15 15). Most visitors arrive at CDG which is 14 miles north of Paris.
Buses run frequently (every 12 minutes) and trains every 15 minutes
from the airport to the city.
The same schedule of trains and buses operates from Orly airport,
which is 8 miles south of Paris. A bus also runs every 20 minutes

Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Transport to the city
The RER line B runs approximately every 15 minutes from the TGV
station of CDG 2 to the Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles,
St-Michel and Denfert-Rochereau where there are métro stations
(journey time approximately 30-45 minutes; cost EUR7.50).
Roissybus departs from the three terminals to the rue Scribe, métro
Opéra (journey time approximately 45 minutes; cost
EUR8).
RATP buses depart from CDG 1 (gate 26, departure level); bus 350
stops at Gare du Nord and Gare de lEst; bus 351 at the Porte
de Bagnolet and Nation (EUR4).
Air France coaches depart from CDG 1 and CDG 2: to place Charles
de Gaulle (journey time approximately 40 minutes; cost EUR10)
and to Paris-Montparnasse, rue du Commandant Mouchotte, Gare de
Lyon and to boulevard Diderot (journey time approximately
50 minutes; cost EUR11.50).
The Airport Shuttle is a door-to-door airport minibus service,
often cheaper than a taxi. Places must be reserved at least two
days in advance. The journey lasts approximately one hour and fifteen
minutes (costs: EUR18.50 per person).
A taxi to the city centre costs EUR33.50 upwards and takes approximately
60 minutes.
The Airports chauffeur-driven limousine service costs about
EUR84.
Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)
Transport to the city
RER line C and ADP shuttle bus (navette) depart from both terminals
and stop at the Gare dAusterlitz, St-Michel, Invalides and
Porte Maillot (journey time approximately 35 minutes; cost
EUR7).
Orlyval is the frequent Val train shuttle link to the RER line
B station of Anthony which has métro connections to Denfert-Rochereau,
St-Michel and Châtelet-Les Halles (journey time approximately
30 minutes; cost EUR8.50).
Frequent RATP buses stop at place Denfert-Rochereau. The Orlybus
runs to Denfert-Rochereau RER and métro station (journey
time 25 minutes; cost EUR5.50 (one way).
The Jetbus runs to métro Villejuif-Louis Aragon (journey
time approximately 15 minutes; EUR4).
Air France coaches stop at the Porte dOrléans, Gare
Montparnasse, Duroc and Gare des Invalides (journey time
approximately 30 minutes; cost EUR7).
The Airport Shuttle (see Roissy Airport above) takes approximately
1 hour and taxis about 35 minutes (cost approximately EUR23) to
the centre of Paris.
The Airport Limousine service provides chauffeur-driven cars, the
price is fixed at EUR68.50.
